We are proud to present one of the oldest, most exclusive and sustainable meat with reindeer from the local reindeer company. They own two-three thousand half wild reindeers, some of them get slaughted twice a year in a mobile slaughtery coming to the mountains. We buy our meat directly there and that means that the reindeer meat you get at our place did not travel further than 20 km by car in his life.
Our guests can also spot the reindeers often as the herd is always somewhere in the mountains around Hindsæter.
